Jackman’s involvement extends beyond the free-rent competition.As part of the wider collaboration between Bilt and Global Citizen, Bilt members will be able to redeem general admission tickets to the festival, with proceeds benefiting Global Citizen.Three members, along with their guests, will also have the opportunity to win an all-expenses-paid VIP weekend in New York City.The prize package includes flights, hotel accommodations, an early look at the festival and VIP access to the event at Central Park’s Great Lawn.Bilt is also releasing a limited co-branded Global Citizen collection through The Bilt Collection, with proceeds going toward the organization’s work.For the first time, Bilt members will also be able to donate their accumulated points directly to Global Citizen.
Global Citizen campaign targets millions of people
Global Citizen’s campaign this year is centered around three major goals: helping 2 million children gain access to education, supporting 1.5 million smallholder farmers and bringing electricity to 2.5 million homes.Hugh Evans, Global Citizen’s co-founder and CEO, emphasized that tackling extreme poverty requires widespread participation rather than relying solely on wealthy donors.“Ending extreme poverty has never been the work of a few large donors. It’s millions of people choosing to act, over and over,” Evans said.“What Bilt facilitates is a way for that choice to fit into something people already do every month, which is exactly how movements grow,” he added.

Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness once asked $38.9 million
Jackman and Furness first attempted to sell the apartment in June 2022, when it was listed for a much higher $38.9 million.The listing was removed from the market just two months later.Rather than sell, the former couple subsequently turned the property into a rental.In September 2023, around the time they announced their separation, the residence was offered for an eye-watering $125,000 per month.According to Realtor.com, the apartment was leased to a tenant who was expected to remain there until December 2026. However, the property subsequently returned to the market, with the listing appearing again on March 31.The current listing does not identify Jackman and Furness as the owners, but it emphasizes the sellers’ desire for privacy, noting that there are “very limited showings” available to prospective buyers.Property records show that the apartment remains registered to the limited liability company Jackman and Furness used when they bought it in 2008.The same LLC was reportedly used to purchase several of the properties the couple owned during their marriage.
