Anshula and Arjun Kapoor’s mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, passed away years ago after battling cancer; however, she was still there with her daughter in spirit. Taking to her Instagram account, the content creator remembered her mother on her special day, and revealed candidly how she was able to accompany her daughter through everything.She shared a post on her Instagram along with her wedding portraits where she wrote, “There was only one thing I knew I wanted to carry with me when I became a bride – my mom’s 42-year-old gold tissue & zardozi dupatta. Everything else was built around it.” In the emotional post, the star revealed that she wanted to be with the one who raised her as she stepped into this new chapter in her life. “On a day that marked the beginning of a new family, it felt right to be wrapped in the one that raised me first,” Anshula added.Further ahead in the post, she revealed that her entire outfit for the wedding was created as a way to complement her mother’s zardozi dupatta. She tagged her stylists and the people who created her look and talked about how the outfit came to be and how it featured traditional elements from all over India.She wrote, “A bridal ensemble that brought together crafts from across India: intricate Kashida embroidery layered with rich zari work, a bandhini gharchola dupatta as a nod to the family I am marrying into, all in a palette of antique rose, blush and muted gold, finished with delicate Phulkari borders as a tribute to my Punjabi roots.”

He had talked about their bond throughout the years; however, he had also penned down a mention of their mother. He had written, “Today you start your new journey with Rohan and my heart, mind and soul are so so happy seeing you smile. I have seen you grow up and become this wonderful woman who represents our Mom every step of the way, don’t you ever worry cause she is watching over you and blessing you all the time…”He concluded his post by writing that he will always be there for her no matter what happens.
