'Train main thodi masti kar lete hai kya hi ho jayega’: Woman confronts youngsters over train noise, internet divided
Woman confronts youngsters over train noise, internet divided

A train journey with friends can easily turn lively, but the same energy may not feel enjoyable to everyone sharing the coach. A video from a recent train journey has sparked an online debate over where people should draw the line between having fun and disturbing fellow passengers. The discussion began after a group of youngsters was confronted by a woman in the same coach. While some viewers felt the group was simply enjoying their time together, others said passengers travelling around them also deserved some peace.

    Woman confronts youngsters in train

The video, shared on Instagram by Saachi, shows a group of youngsters inside a train coach. They were seen chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya” and “Har Har Mahadev” while travelling together.A woman in the coach then confronted the group about their behaviour. She claimed that she had already asked them several times to stop making noise.“You are literally uneducated, literally, been telling you repeatedly, you are doing the same thing and disturbing the entire coach,” she said. She then questioned their conduct, asking, “What manners do you have?”The woman also warned the youngsters that she would complain about them and seek action.“I am going to complain very, very strong, that you have to get down,” she said.During the exchange, she also referred to an earlier interaction with police, where the group was seemingly asked not to make noise.

‘Train main thodi masti kar lete hai’

The video itself appeared to have been shared with a light-hearted take on the incident. Text written over the clip said, “Train main thodi masti kar lete hai kya hi ho jayega (Let’s have a little fun on the train, what could possibly go wrong?)”It was followed by, “Lo hogaya (Well it happened).”The post soon drew different opinions from viewers, with people debating whether the group had crossed a line.

    Internet divided over train behaviour

Some users defended the youngsters and felt the woman had reacted too strongly.“The lady was just jealous because she didn’t have the friend group like yours,” one person wrote.Others disagreed and said loud behaviour can become particularly disruptive during a night journey.“But actually at night it disturbs a lot. We had a group of our college sitting right beside our seats and they literally shouted like hell, although we were all going for the same trip.”Another commenter said that passengers travelling with children, babies and elderly people should also be considered.“It’s not funny, it’s public transport, kids, babies, elders who want to sleep had to go through this nonsense. Get your own bus if you want to do this.”

    ‘Train hai fish market nahi’

One user also strongly supported the woman and said they would have complained as well.“Aunty k jagah mai vi hota to complain he krta train hai fish market ni jaha jb mnn chillane lgo aur tmlog ka v shi h ek to glti kro fir proud feel kro usme he,” the commenter wrote. The reactions have left viewers divided over a simple question of public etiquette. Some see the incident as friends enjoying a journey together, while others believe that shared spaces require people to keep their behaviour from affecting those around them.Disclaimer: The information in this article is based on the social media post and comments mentioned above.
