Faith does not always have to come with thumbnails of temple bells, huge processions, rituals, or loud chants. Sometimes even the quietest of places and most unexpected spots witness the purest of moments that define honest faith in God.A corner where nobody is watching asks for no audience or applause and does not care about the noise of the platform, the rush of the passengers, or the clock ticking toward the next station, and there is simply just belief. One such moment was captured by a stranger on a train showing an old man praying dedicatedly to God printed on a carry bag.
“He deserves nothing less”: An old man’s prayer on a train berth moves Instagram
A video has gone viral on social media winning hearts online for showing innocent, pure-hearted faith in God at the most unexpected place. The video was posted by the user @euphoric_hues., seemingly a stranger, showing an elderly passenger praying with deep devotion. The video shows the man seated on the side lower berth of a train coach with the windows open. He wears a white muslin cotton dhoti and is barefoot, with his slippers kept under the berth. The most emotional moment of the clip comes when users notice that he is praying to a portrait of God printed on a bag, which appears to be a puja samagri carry bag with printed images of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. The video was posted with a caption, “Saw a random grandpa praying to God, and all I wished was “He deserves nothing less”.” That single line seems to have set the tone for the responses that followed, as viewers echoed the same wish for the man.ID@undefined Caption not available.ID@undefined Caption not available.
