Tara Sutaria clearly wasn’t going for a quiet red-carpet moment. At the Bengaluru trailer launch of Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups on August 8, Tara turned up in a fitted leopard-print gown that looked straight out of an old-Hollywood film, with a little modern drama thrown in.The actress chose an off-shoulder floor-length dress that hugged her figure before falling into a long skirt. The neckline left her shoulders and collarbones bare, while the full sleeves gave the otherwise glamorous look a more structured feel.And then there was the print. Leopard can easily become too much, but Tara kept the rest of the styling fairly controlled.She wore a chunky gold chain necklace with a large pearl-like detail sitting right in the centre. Round gold earrings added some extra shine, while a few rings finished off the jewellery.The hair really leaned into the vintage mood.Tara wore her hair in glossy waves with a deep side part. The front was swept neatly across her forehead, while the rest fell in big, smooth curls around her shoulders.Her makeup followed the same warm, old-school vibe. She went with sharp winged eyeliner, defined brows and plenty of mascara, along with bronzed skin and a soft glow on her cheeks.For the lips, she stayed with a brown-toned nude shade and used a slightly darker liner to give them more definition.Nothing too loud, which was probably the right call with that dress.She finished the look with pointed-toe leopard-print heels that matched the gown.The whole thing had a very retro feel without looking like Tara was trying to recreate a particular era. The animal print, gold jewellery, side-swept waves and dramatic silhouette all came together nicely.At a trailer launch packed with stars, Tara’s look definitely knew how to demand attention.
