Can this portable range hood replace a full-size kitchen exhaust fan?
This portable range hood is made for places where you can’t or don’t want to install a permanent hood — apartments, RVs, dorms, small kitchens, or rental homes, but won’t fully replace full-size kitchen exhaust fan.
Does it remove all cooking odors?
No portable range hood can remove 100% of cooking odors — odor molecules are very small, and even activated carbon has its limits. Our machine significantly reduces smells — for example, from “unbearably strong” down to “noticeable but acceptable.”
How loud is it? Will it bother me or my family?
The noise level ranges from 50 to 65 dB, depending on the speed you select. At the lowest setting, it’s quiet enough for conversation; the highest setting is about as loud as a quiet vacuum cleaner or exhaust fan, but with stronger suction.
Why does it look larger in real life than in the photos?
Photos can make it look smaller. Roughly the width of an Teenagers hand or a large coffee mug. The height is 14.7 inches, about the same as a 13-inch laptop standing on its side. We made it this size to get enough suction power.
