Super cool!
It’s hard to tell in photos but the colors are super vibrant. I’ve had one in my lamp for a few months now and just bought the 4 pack to replace the overhead lighting in both my rooms. In the app you can group multiple lights together to change them all at once. Super awesome for when I don’t want to get up to dim or turn off the light at night I can just use my phone. Changing the different colors is fun too! The app is super easy to use and I can’t recommend these enough. They also connect to my Alexa devices without issue. The pictures seriously don’t do justice for how bright and vibrant these are. And you can change the type of white light and different colors in the app. I love the feature of different whites for when I want cool or warm vibes

    These have an amazing range of vibrant colors to choose from, including the full range of white lighting options to match whatever pre-existing bulb temperature rating you have in your house! Also, they are BRIGHT!

    The setup is a breeze with the Kasa app and creating schedules or grouping devices together to function in sync is a snap!

    We have an older set of these that are going strong indoors for about 5 years now. Our newest set is used outdoors in covered fixtures and has been exposed to freezing weather without fail.

    Response times for on/off functionality or color changes are immediate and we've had no down time with our wifi connectivity to these devices.

    There's been no phasing out of cross compatibility from our old bulbs to our new set. We sync the bulbs together or use them separate without fail and they function as intended every time!

    Changed My Whole Living Room Mood with My Phone – Colors Are Vibrant and Alexa Control is Seamless

    I had regular dumb bulbs in my living room and was getting tired of the same boring white light all the time. I'd been curious about smart bulbs for a while but didn't want to spend a fortune. These Kasa bulbs were reasonably priced and had good reviews so I grabbed a 4-pack to do my main living room lamps.

    Setup was super easy. Downloaded the Kasa app, screwed the bulbs into my lamps, opened the app and it found them right away. Took maybe 5 minutes to get all four bulbs connected to my WiFi and named properly. Way easier than I expected – no complicated pairing process or technical nonsense.

    I've got these bulbs in my four living room lamps – two floor lamps in the corners and two table lamps on end tables. Being able to control all of them from my phone is so convenient. I can turn them on from bed before I get up in the morning, or turn them off from the couch without getting up. Small thing but it's one of those quality of life improvements you don't realize you wanted until you have it.

    The color changing is what really makes these worth it. I can set them to warm white for a cozy evening vibe, bright white when I'm cleaning or need good visibility, or pick from like 16 million colors for whatever mood I want. I do deep red lighting when watching horror movies, blue-green for a chill vibe, warm orange for dinner parties. It completely changes the atmosphere of the room.

    I integrated them with my Alexa and voice control works perfectly. "Alexa, turn living room lights to 50%" or "Alexa, make the lights purple" and it just works. Super useful when my hands are full or I'm cooking in the kitchen and want to adjust the living room lighting without stopping what I'm doing.

    The scheduling feature is clutch. I've got them set to turn on at sunset automatically and turn off at 11pm. Also have them gradually brighten in the morning to help me wake up more naturally instead of being shocked awake by an alarm. It's like having daylight that follows my schedule.

    The brightness is legit. These are 1000 lumens which is plenty for my living room. I usually run them at like 70-80% brightness and that's more than enough light. When I crank them to 100% the room is super bright – good for cleaning or when I need to find something I dropped behind the couch.

    I set up different scenes for different occasions. Movie Night scene dims everything to 20% with warm white. Party Mode cycles through colors. Reading Mode is bright white at 100%. Chill Evening is warm orange at 40%. Having presets means I don't have to fiddle with settings every time, just hit the scene I want and done.

    The color accuracy is really good. When I set them to red they're actually red, not some washed out pink. Blue is deep blue, green is vibrant green. The colors are saturated and look how you'd expect them to look. Makes them great for holidays – red and green for Christmas, orange for Halloween, whatever.

    I've used the away mode feature when traveling. Sets the lights to turn on and off at random times to make it look like someone's home. Good for security and peace of mind when I'm gone for a few days. Beats leaving lights on 24/7 and wasting electricity.

    The energy monitoring in the app is interesting. Shows me how much energy each bulb is using. These are LEDs so they're way more efficient than the old incandescent bulbs I had before. My electric bill has actually gone down a bit even though I'm using the lights more because they're fun to play with now.

    They work great with my Google Home too. I can control them from my phone, Alexa, or Google Assistant depending on which device is closest. The integration with both ecosystems means I'm not locked into one platform.

    The grouping feature is useful. I've got all four living room bulbs in a "Living Room" group so I can control them all at once, but I can also control them individually if I want. Like if I just want the floor lamps on but not the table lamps, I can do that.

    I've added these to routines too. Morning routine turns them on gradually, evening routine dims them down. When my Alexa alarm goes off, the lights start brightening. When I say "Alexa, goodnight" everything turns off including the lights. Makes my smart home feel actually smart and not just a collection of disconnected gadgets.

    The bulbs don't make any noise which some smart bulbs apparently do. No humming, no buzzing, just quiet operation. The light quality is consistent too – no flickering or weird color shifts.

    They stay connected to WiFi reliably. I've had other smart home stuff that constantly drops connection and needs resetting. These Kasa bulbs just work. They've stayed connected since I installed them months ago without any issues.

    My friends have been impressed when they come over. Being able to change the whole vibe of the room by telling Alexa to switch colors is a neat party trick. Plus having presets for different activities makes the space feel more intentional and designed.

    For the price these are a great way to get into smart lighting without spending a fortune. They do everything the expensive Philips Hue bulbs do but cost way less. If you want to try smart bulbs or add some personality to your lighting, these are perfect.

    I have these light bulbs all over the house. They're decently bright, and it makes it a breeze to manage the lights in the house. I have some outside that I have programmed to turn red so that insects are not as attracted to them. They're on a timer to where they automatically turn on in the evenings and turn off in the mornings. There is one in the living room that does the same that way there's always light. They work with your Google device and your Google routines. I have yet to have one that has blown or has stopped working and I've had these for quite a while. They fit a standard light bulb socket. And if you don't have Smart devices you can always just download the app and use it that way. I recommend these, and I will be buying more in the future.

    That can be a bit annoying but knocking down a star as I've returned home and my lights have turned on unexpectedly? I can only assume a laggy/buggy app since I make sure to have these off before I leave. It doesn't happen all the time, but enough that it is frustrating.

    I love Kasa products and have used them for a few years now. The bulbs and the app are excellent. The bulbs last a very long time. I use them inside and in my outdoor fixtures. I have the outside scheduled for dusk to dawn, so they come on/off automatically, and I can change the color and brightness. The inside bulbs are great in my lamps and fixtures all over the house. I really like them when I travel, as I can turn them on and off from anywhere in the world as long as I have cellular access, or you can schedule them before you leave, and they will come on and off based on the times and days you set. Just leave your network up and running.

    I’ve been using these Kasa smart bulbs mainly for the dimming, and that part works exactly how I want it to. Adjusting brightness is smooth and makes everyday lighting more comfortable than a simple on/off setup. They also let you change the light color, which is available right in the app without any extra steps. Setup was easy, and they’ve been consistent in normal daily use.     I hate these so much they make me angry. Setup

    Absolutely absurd. It' s just like another pair of smart bulbs I purchased, they are so hard to set up. I have a room, I want to install 4 in one room. My phone neither android nor iOS will connect to their wifi it keeps timing out, or it will say not allowed to connect. I have a degree in computer science and have many smart devices I've set up. These bulbs are always so glitchy.

    Question for the manufacture. Why don't you just on reset of the bulb, identify the bulb in the app and configure them You can either use bluetooth for the setup if the wifi is so hard or figure out a way to make the wifi just stay online. The issue I run into in this case is the wifi is always going offline during the initialization phase. I have very little confidence when I'm setting up a product and I see different issues in each attempt. Sometimes the bulbs are identified but it won't connect to wifi from your own app, sometimes they aren't but I see the wifi, some time the wifi doesn't show .I can never connect in any of these cases.

    I mean these are lightbulbs who is going to mess around with this crap. The other product I bought I had the same sort of issue. I got them working but eventually they stopped working because they had this elaborate bluetooth mesh thing. I figured ok wifi how hard can this be it's got to work right. Wrong. It doesn't work. For got sake all you really need to do is keep them in open mode on the initial setup phase and have the app take you though them one by one passing off your real wifi password. Why are you so incompetent.

    I write plenty of positive reviews about products. But smart bulbs are so stupid. I mean they re a smart idea, but the implementation is ABSOLUTE crap. LEARN how to write software. You totally wasted my time, and I'm glad to return these to you you deserve the overhead for wasting my time with your garbage product.
