Union Bank of India (UBI) has declared the Apprentice recruitment 2026 result under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Candidates who appeared for the online written examination conducted by BFSI SSC on July 7, 2026, can now check the list of provisionally selected candidates on the official website, unionbankofindia.bank.in.The bank has released the result in PDF format containing the roll numbers of candidates who have been provisionally selected for apprenticeship. A detailed communication regarding the reporting venue and date for completing the pre-engagement formalities will be sent only to the registered email IDs of the selected candidates.It is important to note that the selection is provisional and subject to verification of all eligibility conditions mentioned in the recruitment notification dated April 28, 2026.
Union Bank of India Apprentice recruitment 2026 : Final selection process
The final selection of candidates will be subject to the successful completion of the following stages:
- Verification of eligibility criteria and required documents.
- Language proficiency test, wherever applicable.
- Submission of a medical fitness certificate as prescribed in the recruitment notification.
Documents required for reporting
Candidates shortlisted for apprenticeship will have to carry the following documents while reporting for the pre-engagement formalities:
- Ten passport-size photographs (same as uploaded on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal).
- Permanent and correspondence address proof.
- Permanent Account Number (PAN) card or proof of PAN allotment.
- Aadhaar card.
- Original educational certificates and mark sheets, including the Class 10 or matriculation certificate, degree certificate, and mark sheets.
- Valid caste certificate for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates, if applicable.
- Disability certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates, if applicable.
- Valid Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate for the financial year 2025-26, if applicable.
- One set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates and identity documents.
- Medical fitness certificate issued by a registered general physician with a minimum Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) qualification.
- Printed copy of the
NATS portal profile.
The bank has also clarified that no separate communication will be sent to candidates who were not selected. It added that while every effort has been made to prepare the result accurately, it reserves the right to correct any error. The decision of the bank regarding the selection process will be final and binding.
