They wanted to answer followers’ questions

Explaining why they decided to talk openly about their earnings, the couple said they had received thousands of messages from people curious about how they manage their lifestyle as full-time creators. They said, “We have been content creators for the last 3 years and have received thousands of DMs on how we afford this lifestyle, so here is everything we’ve learned.”

Their first paid collaboration came in 2023

Muskaan and Aashish said they started creating content in May 2023 while continuing with their regular jobs. Their first paid collaboration came in October that year.Looking back at those early days, they said, “We started making content in May 2023 and got our first paid collaboration in October for ₹15,000. We were still doing this part-time, and we ended up making ₹6.5 lakhs that year.”

Going full time brought bigger opportunities

In 2024, the couple decided to quit their jobs and focus entirely on content creation. They also added new sources of income through affiliate marketing and by hosting their first group trip.Muskaan said, “In Year 2, we signed up with an agency, and money actually started flowing in. We also started earning through affiliates and hosted our first-ever group trip. That year, we made around ₹45.3 lakhs.”According to the figures shared by the couple, they earned more that year than the combined salary they had received from their tech jobs.

Their biggest earnings came the following year

They left the agency they had joined because they felt undervalued and started focusing on expanding their income through different channels. Aashish said, “Year 3 was our biggest yet. We left the agency because we felt undervalued there. We talked to other creators and built platform monetization on YouTube and Facebook. We sold our first digital product, kept on doing affiliates, and also did one group trip. That year, we made ₹1.09 crore.”According to the couple, their earnings came from content creation, affiliate marketing, brand deals, platform monetisation, digital products and one group trip.

What they have earned this year

The couple also shared an update on their earnings for the current year. They said they made ₹21.6 lakh during the first four months, while adding that income in content creation is not consistent throughout the year.Muskaan said, “And this is for the first four months, because full disclosure, this is a seasonal industry. We have earned ₹21.6 lakhs.”They also clarified that the income figures shared in the video do not include expenses.Disclaimer: This article is based on claims made by the creators in a publicly shared social media post.
