Sonal Chauhan arrived at the trailer launch of Mirzapur: The Movie in a white organza saree that leaned into simplicity rather than going all out with the styling.The actor wore Baise Gaba’s White Organza Embellished Saree Set, which is priced at ₹42,500. The saree came in a crisp white organza fabric with delicate embellishment and gota work running across the drape. The detailing also appeared on the blouse, giving the outfit a coordinated finish without making it feel too heavy.There was a certain softness to the whole look. The organza gave the saree a light, almost airy appearance, while the gota detailing added just enough shine. It was the kind of outfit that didn’t need a lot of extras to make itself noticed.Sonal paired it with a muslin blouse and kept the rest of the styling fairly simple. Her hair was left open, framing her face and keeping the look relaxed rather than overly formal. She didn’t go for a dramatic hairstyle, which worked with the easy feel of the saree.Her makeup was equally understated. A clean base, subtle definition and a natural-looking finish kept the focus on the outfit. There was no bold lip or dramatic eye look competing with the white ensemble.The jewellery added the strongest statement. Sonal wore heavy jhumkas with a chunky ring and two bracelets, bringing some weight to an otherwise delicate look. The earrings, especially, stood out against the white organza and gave the outfit a little more personality.Still, there’s something to be said for not overworking a pretty saree. Sonal let the organza, gota work and embellishment remain the stars of the look.
