Ahead of its worldwide release on November 27, 2026, Emraan Hashmi‘s action thriller ‘Gunmaaster G9’ is kicking off promotions with a theatrical teaser. Reports indicate the teaser will be screened in cinemas alongside Yash‘s ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups’, giving audiences their first proper look at the film. The teaser is expected to unveil the film’s world and its key characters.
‘Gunmaaster G9’ teaser to get standalone screening, not attached to ‘Toxic’s print
According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the ‘Gunmaaster G9’ teaser will get a standalone screening prior to ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups’ in theatres. Instead of being spliced into Yash’s film print, the teaser will reportedly play separately before the main feature begins. Since ‘Toxic’ is expected to draw large crowds, this gives ‘Gunmaaster G9’ a chance to reach a wide audience well ahead of its own release. The theatrical unveiling also lets the makers start generating buzz around the film, even with its November release still months out. The teaser will showcase Emraan Hashmi in his action avatar.

Directed by Aditya Datt, ‘Gunmaaster G9’ is a blends action with romance. Sarim Momin and Junaid Wasi have written the film, while Himesh Reshammiya has composed the music. Leading the cast is Emraan Hashmi, fresh off the success of ‘Awarapan 2’, once again taking on the kind of action-romance role he’s known for. He is joined by Genelia Deshmukh and Aparshakti Khurana, with newcomer Abhishek Singh making his acting debut.‘Gunmaaster G9’ is set to release worldwide on November 27, 2026, the same day as ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’. Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, Yeh Prem Mol Liya stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari, and has just wrapped shooting. It also features Saumya Tandon, Seema Pahwa and Swanand Kirkire. Reportedly a family entertainer, it will clash with ‘Gunmaaster G9’ at the box office, with the two films offering very different viewing experiences.
