Inside Toxic star Yash's luxurious Bengaluru duplex: From a sacred Tulasi Katte to a stunning sofa, decor ideas worth stealing from his home

Away from the larger-than-life worlds of KGF and his recent film Toxic, Yash’s Bengaluru home offers a glimpse of a much quieter, more personal side of the actor. Shared with his wife, actor Radhika Pandit, and their two children, Ayra and Yatharv, the duplex sits in North Bengaluru’s upscale Prestige Golfshire, a 275-acre development set against the Nandi Hills with its own private lake and an 18-hole golf course. Designed by interior designer Saniya Sardhariya, who’s spoken online about the couple’s insistence on staying rooted in their heritage even within a thoroughly contemporary space, the home blends modern design with distinctly Indian touches throughout. Whether or not you’re building a Bengaluru duplex of your own, there’s genuinely useful decor inspiration tucked into nearly every corner of this home.

A traditional Tulasi Katte, kept intentionally sacred

Even with a largely modern design brief guiding the rest of the home, Radhika was reportedly firm about one thing: a proper Tulasi Katte, sculpted specifically by temple artisans in Karkala rather than sourced off the shelf. It’s a small but genuinely meaningful lesson in home design, that a contemporary space doesn’t have to sacrifice spiritual or cultural grounding; a single, thoughtfully placed traditional element can anchor an entire home’s identity, even when everything surrounding it leans sleek and modern.A warm, minimalist colour palette that never feels coldPhotos of the home consistently point to a palette built around beige, cream, and gold, a combination that reads as minimalist without ever tipping into stark or clinical. It’s a genuinely useful takeaway for anyone nervous about neutral palettes looking flat, warm neutrals, layered with wooden tones and soft lighting, can feel just as rich and inviting as a bolder colour scheme, while giving a home a timeless, easy-to-live-with quality that doesn’t date quickly.

One statement piece of colour against the neutrals

Against that soft, neutral backdrop, a striking blue sofa and matching chair show up repeatedly in glimpses of the living room, an intentional pop of colour that keeps the space from feeling too uniform or muted. It’s a classic, effective design principle worth borrowing directly, when the bulk of a room leans neutral, a single bold furniture piece does far more visual work than scattering colour thinly across several smaller items throughout the space.

Multi-functional, social spaces built for togetherness

The home reportedly includes an open social kitchen alongside a Greek-inspired balcony, both spaces clearly designed around connection rather than just function. An open kitchen naturally pulls family and guests into the same space as whoever’s cooking, while a dedicated balcony area, styled with intention rather than treated as an afterthought, becomes a genuine destination within the home rather than just a leftover outdoor corner tacked onto a bedroom.

A walk-in wardrobe as considered as any other room

Rather than treating storage as purely functional, the home’s statement walk-in wardrobe reflects a broader trend in contemporary design, giving dressing spaces the same design attention typically reserved for living rooms or bedrooms. It’s a reminder that even the more utilitarian corners of a home benefit from proper planning and a bit of design intention, rather than being an afterthought squeezed in wherever space allows.

Greenery worked into nearly every space

Indoor plants show up consistently throughout the home, softening what could otherwise feel like a fairly formal, polished interior. It’s an easy, low-cost decor lesson that applies to almost any home regardless of size or budget, a well-placed cluster of plants near a staircase, a window, or a seating area instantly adds warmth, texture, and a sense of life to a room that furniture and paint alone simply can’t replicate.

Architectural drama, balanced by warm materials

A winding staircase and wooden panelling give the living areas a genuinely palatial feel, but it’s the wood specifically that keeps the grandeur from tipping into cold or intimidating. Pairing architecturally dramatic elements, high ceilings, sweeping staircases, statement lighting, with warm, natural materials is a dependable way to make a large, luxurious space still feel genuinely liveable rather than purely showpiece.
