Odisha DElEd admission 2026: Result declared, counselling and college allotment schedule announced

Odisha DElEd result 2026: The SCERT Odisha and Directorate of Teacher Education have declared the SAMS DElEd 2026 result on August 30, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination can check their result and scorecard by logging into the official SAMS Odisha portal at scert.samsodisha.gov.in.Admission to participating Odisha D.El.Ed colleges will be conducted through the entrance examination and subsequent counselling process. With the computer-based test result now available, the admission process will move to choice filling, merit list publication, institute allotment and physical document verification.Odisha DElEd admission 2026 next stepsCandidates are required to participate in online counselling and submit their preferred institutions during the first week of September. The provisional merit list and intimation letter for State Quota seats are scheduled for release on September 7, 2026.A separate merit list for the Urdu and Kandhamal quotas is scheduled for September 9, 2026. Candidates allotted institutions will subsequently have to report to their respective colleges with original documents for verification. D.El.Ed classes are scheduled to begin in September 2026.

Documents required for college reportingAfter the institution-wise merit list is published, candidates should log into the portal, check their allotment and download the intimation letter. They should keep the printed scorecard and rank card ready along with educational certificates, identity proof and applicable category or caste certificates.The admission process covers government DIETs, BIETs and ETEIs, where the number of seats is limited. More than 6,500 government seats are available across the state.Exam pattern and qualifying requirementThe entrance examination carries 90 marks, with 30 marks assigned to Section I and 60 marks to Section II. A negative marking of 0.25 marks applies for every incorrect answer. For General candidates, the projected range is 31.50-34.00 for Arts and 42.00-45.00 for Science.
