Sandeep Anand, son of noted art director Anand Sai, has been granted bail in connection with a fatal hit-and-run case in Hyderabad. The incident reportedly took place near the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and Khajaguda.As reported by Siasat, the accident resulted in the death of 31-year-old Nanda Kishor Kumar Ray, also known as Nandulal. Student Zaid Shah Qadri was also seriously injured during the sequence of events that followed. According to reports, Sandeep Anand was behind the wheel of the car that allegedly hit Nanda Kishor Kumar Ray. Police said the victim was attempting to cross the road when the collision occurred.Nanda Kishor Kumar Ray was left badly injured after being struck. Sandeep Anand allegedly left the spot after the accident. The injured man was reportedly bleeding heavily on the road.Zaid Shah Qadri reportedly stopped to help Nanda Kishor Kumar Ray. While attempting to assist him, the student was hit by another vehicle. Zaid Shah Qadri sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Sandeep Anand arrested after CCTV investigation
The police launched an investigation after the fatal accident. CCTV footage from the surrounding area was examined as part of the probe. Investigators reportedly used the footage to identify and trace the vehicle involved in the collision. Sandeep Anand was subsequently arrested in connection with the case. The arrest reportedly took place on Tuesday.
Upparpally Court grants bail
According to Gulte, the Upparpally Court has granted bail to Sandeep Anand in the Rayadurgam hit-and-run case. Sandeep Anand had been arrested in connection with the incident involving Nanda Kishor Kumar Ray. The bail order has been issued while the police investigation remains underway.The allegations against Sandeep Anand concern the collision involving his vehicle.
