‘You Can See Everything’ gets surprise Telluride screening

The documentary was unveiled unexpectedly at the Telluride Film Festival. Its screening came ahead of the planned theatrical release in October. The film’s story begins 34 days before Elizabeth Holmes was due to enter prison. During that period, she invited a film crew to record her life and experiences. What began as a relatively straightforward documentary project took an unexpected turn. The filmmakers continued following the story for three years. The extended filming period forms a major part of the documentary’s premise.Elizabeth Holmes became internationally known after Theranos faced intense scrutiny over its blood-testing technology and business practices. Her legal troubles eventually led to a prison sentence.

Nathan Fielder and Elizabeth Holmes face off in teaser

A24’s teaser introduces viewers to the unusual dynamic between Nathan Fielder and Elizabeth Holmes. One of the most striking moments features the two looking directly at each other. The exchange appears to test the level of trust between them. I’m engaging with you as a human being. Why would I deceive you? There’s no reason for me to do that.” Nathan Fielder responds, “OK. Alright. OK, good chat,” before asking, “You’re being real right now?” Elizabeth Holmes then replies, “I’m always being real.”

Who directed ‘You Can See Everything’?

Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim serve as the directors of ‘You Can See Everything’. Nathan Fielder is known for projects that combine comedy, reality and unconventional storytelling. His credits include ‘Nathan For You’ and ‘The Rehearsal’. Lance Oppenheim has directed documentaries such as ‘Some Kind of Heaven’ and ‘Primetime’.The filmmakers have taken an unusual approach to Elizabeth Holmes’ story. Instead of focusing only on her rise and downfall, the documentary follows her through a much longer period.

‘You Can See Everything’ set for October release

A24’s official description outlines the unusual premise behind the documentary. “Thirty-four days before she’s sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move. From boundary-pushing directors Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim comes You Can See Everything.”‘You Can See Everything’ is scheduled to arrive in theatres in October.
