Nushrratt Bharuccha has been brought back to Mumbai for spine surgery after an accident in Bali left her with a spinal fracture. Earlier, the publicist confirmed the news, and the actor is scheduled to be operated on today in Mumbai.

Reports earlier said that Nushrratt Bharuccha would be flown home by air ambulance for further treatment. Videos now online show her being taken away on a stretcher in an ambulance after landing in the city. She looked worried and in considerable pain in the visuals. She wore hospital clothes, with a small tube in her nose and an IV drip on her hand.
Statement from her publicist
According to NDTV, her team said, “We request everyone to respect her privacy at this time and allow her the space to focus on her treatment and recovery. We are grateful for everyone’s concern and good wishes and will share further updates as and when appropriate.”The report added that she was first admitted to a hospital in Bali. It stated, “Nushrratt Bharuccha has met with an unfortunate accident in Bali. She had travelled there for a work commitment and had extended her stay by a few days. She sustained an injury in the accident and is currently hospitalised in Bali under medical care.”
Her upcoming work
Nushrratt has reportedly joined the cast of Tiger Shroff‘s next film, which will be their first on-screen project together. Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying, “The team wanted someone who could bring both strength and emotional depth to the story. Nushrratt was always one of the strongest choices. Her role has substance, and audiences will get to see her in an exciting new avatar.”Bollywood Hungama reported that the film also stars Pashmina Roshan, Abhishek Banerjee and Elvish Yadav in key roles. It is also a big step for producer Viccky Jain, who is making his producing debut under his new banner, VJ Frames.Nushrratt was last seen with Sohum Shah in the comedy thriller ‘Ufff Yeh Siyapaa’.
