Disha Patani, Eknath Shinde visit Tiger Shroff’s residence after the firing incident in Mumbai’s Juhu area.

Disha Patani, along with Krishna Shroff, visited Tiger Shroff’s residence following the firing incident in Mumbai’s Juhu area, as Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also visited the actor’s home and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis called him to offer support. The developments came hours after Shroff narrowly escaped an attack in which unidentified men allegedly opened fire at his car, leaving two people injured.Patani, who shares a close friendship with Tiger and his family, was seen arriving at his residence after the incident. The visits and calls from senior political leaders came amid heightened concern over the safety of Bollywood personalities following the shooting.Tiger was unharmed in the incident, while his driver sustained a gunshot injury. Mumbai Police have formed 15 teams to track down those responsible, and the investigation is underway.

Eknath Shinde visits Tiger Shroff’s residence, condemns attack

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde strongly condemned the firing incident and stressed that the safety of celebrities and ordinary citizens remained the government’s priority.Speaking to the media, Shinde described the attack on Tiger’s vehicle as deeply concerning and said he had spoken to the Mumbai Police Commissioner. He also said the commissioner had formed several teams to identify and apprehend those responsible.“Our current priority is to keep Mumbai and its citizens safe. Whether it is a celebrity or an ordinary citizen, ensuring their safety is the responsibility of both the police and the government. There will be no laxity in this regard, and no gang, whoever they may be, will be spared,” Shinde said.Referring to Mumbai’s history of gang wars in the 1990s, the Deputy Chief Minister warned against attempts to spread fear in the city. He said the police would take action to maintain law and order and ensure those responsible were brought to justice.

Devendra Fadnavis calls Tiger Shroff, assures swift action

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also spoke to Tiger Shroff following the incident and assured him that the accused would be traced and apprehended at the earliest.“We are all with you. We will trace and apprehend the accused at the earliest,” Fadnavis told the actor.According to sources in the Chief Minister’s Office, Fadnavis had earlier contacted the Mumbai Police Commissioner to seek details of the firing. He directed the commissioner to ensure a swift investigation and strict action against those responsible. The government’s response came as police intensified their investigation into the shooting, which took place in the Juhu area on Sunday.

Tiger Shroff escapes unharmed as driver suffers gunshot injury

According to Mumbai Police, three to four rounds were fired at Tiger’s car as he was leaving a ground after football practice. A large crowd had gathered to see the actor, and police said shots were fired at his vehicle from within the crowd.Tiger was not hit by any bullets. His driver, identified in police updates as Firdosh, sustained a gunshot wound to his left arm and was taken to Nanavati Hospital for treatment. Another person, identified as Mr Chauhan in an earlier police statement, was also injured and was undergoing treatment. An autorickshaw driver was among those reported to have been hurt in the incident.Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg said police teams had been deployed and a forensic team had examined the scene to collect evidence. The incident falls under the jurisdiction of Juhu Police Station, and further investigation is underway. The firing triggered panic in the area, with people reportedly running for cover after hearing the gunshots. Police cordoned off the scene as investigators began examining the circumstances surrounding the attack.

Unverified gang claim surfaces after shooting

After the incident, a video circulated on social media in which a man identifying himself as Anil Pandit and claiming links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for the firing. The man allegedly described the attack as a warning to Tiger to stop working with Salman Khan. However, police had not officially confirmed the gang’s involvement in the shooting in the information available at the time of reporting. The claim circulating online remains unverified. The allegation has drawn attention because of the reported hostility between members of the Bishnoi gang and Salman Khan, linked to the actor’s alleged involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case in Rajasthan. The Bishnoi community reveres the blackbuck. The gang has also been linked by investigators to previous attacks involving people associated with Khan. The 2024 killing of former Maharashtra legislator Baba Siddique in Bandra East, which was claimed by the Bishnoi gang, had further raised concerns about organised crime and threats connected to the film industry. For now, the motive behind the firing at Tiger Shroff’s car and the identity of those responsible remain subjects of the police investigation.
