AvrRam recently took to Instagram to give her followers a glimpse into the period following her injury. She revealed that it had been a month since the accident. She explained that she had followed the medical instructions throughout her recovery.“Only got up to do this after getting a ‘Good to Go’ from my Doctor. It was a task to only be allowed to be in bed with the leg up high, all these days, but i understood if i want to recover fast, then I must listen to my Doctor. Not even once did i step on my injured foot, from the time this accident happened.Thanks to the workout ive been following, was i able to jump around on my other leg, till i got the crutches and later wheelchair . Actress recalls the workout accident
AvrRam said the injury happened despite her usual focus on exercising safely. She initially assumed the impact had caused only a bruise. The relatively low level of pain made her underestimate the injury.“Fitness has always been an important part of my lifestyle, and I’m usually very particular about following all the necessary safety precautions while working out. But this time, a 10-kg dumbbell accidentally slipped and fell directly on my foot. It all happened within a fraction of a second. “To my surprise it wasn’t that painful and hence i thought it will only bruise up but after getting it examined, I was told that I had sustained a proper fracture.”A medical examination confirmed the fracture. AvrRam was then advised to stay off her feet and give the injury sufficient time to heal.
Injury affects her professional commitments
The fracture has also forced AvrRam to make changes to her work schedule. Her upcoming shoots have been postponed while she concentrates on recovery. “The doctor had advised me to take complete bed rest for two to three weeks, so I really don’t have any option but to pause and focus on recovery. As much as I hate cancelling work commitments, health comes first right now. I’ve had to postpone my upcoming shoot schedules by a few weeks, and while it’s disappointing, I know it’s important to give my body the time it needs to heal properly. I’m staying positive, following all the medical advice, and know ill be back on my feet and in front of the camera very soon.”The injury has also prompted AvrRam to reflect on her approach to fitness. Her social media posts focused on the importance of building physical strength. Elli AvrRam has had to put her shoots on hold for a few weeks. However, she is expected to return once she receives medical clearance.
