Copper leaf earns its name from the warm, coppery-red mottling that runs across its broad, slightly ruffled leaves, often shot through with streaks of bronze, pink, or deep maroon depending on the variety. It’s a fast-growing shrub that thrives in the kind of full, intense sun many other coloured-leaf plants struggle with, making it a genuinely good match for exposed Indian balconies and terraces through summer.
