“She’s always been retarded”: Streamers Asmongold tears into Candace Owens over Charlie Kirk claims, says she’s ‘totally cooked’ after conspiracy theories

"She's always been retarded": Streamers Asmongold tears into Candace Owens over Charlie Kirk claims, says she's 'totally cooked' after conspiracy theories
Asmongold strongly criticised Candace Owens over her Charlie Kirk conspiracy claims, arguing she has severely damaged her credibility and alienated mainstream audiences. He claimed there was little chance of repairing her public image and suggested her remaining supporters would continue demanding more extreme claims. His remarks, shared widely on social media, sparked fresh debate, with users divided between supporting his criticism and defending Owens.

Candace Owens has found herself at the centre of another heated online debate after a viral social media post highlighted sharp criticism from streamer Asmongold over her coverage of the Charlie Kirk case. The clip, which quickly spread across X, focused on Asmongold’s claim that Owens has severely damaged her public credibility through what he described as conspiracy-driven content, prompting fresh discussion across social media.

Asmongold says Candace Owens has damaged her credibility

The latest wave of reactions followed a viral post that summarized Asmongold’s comments about Owens. The post claimed the streamer believed Owens had reached a point where many viewers would no longer take her seriously because of her continued coverage of Charlie Kirk-related theories.During his livestream, Asmongold delivered a lengthy assessment of Owens’ current position.“To cover the dumbass Candace Owens bombshell evidence about Tyler Robinson being innocent, she’s, she’s, uh, she’s circling the drain. I think that she’s burned so much of her credibility with the, uh, Charlie Kirk, uh, you know, fucking goose chase that I don’t think anybody’s gonna take her seriously after this. She is between a rock and a hard place because she has basically distilled down the most crazy, conspiratorial, insane people possible.“He continued by arguing that Owens had narrowed her audience to people who embrace increasingly extreme claims.“So every reasonable person is never going to pay attention to Candace Owens again. Like Candace Owens is a retard. She’s always been retarded, but now she’s like, especially retarded.”The comments immediately circulated across multiple platforms, drawing both support and criticism. While some users agreed with Asmongold’s assessment, others argued that his remarks crossed the line because of the language he used.

Candace Owens criticism sparks wider debate across social media

Asmongold went on to argue that Owens now faces a difficult choice. According to him, apologising would alienate her supporters, while continuing down the same path could create even greater problems.“So she can’t apologize because then she sells out the only people that have stuck with her. And she can’t keep going because those people are just increasingly more extreme and they’ll eventually turn on her or she’ll end up, yeah, she’ll end up getting sued or de-platformed because the people that are those type of conspiracy nut balls, they will always want, like there’s, it’s kind of like nuisance screaming where there’s never an answer of what is enough. There’s always an answer of how can I get even more.”He concluded by saying he sees little chance of Owens rebuilding her public image.“Only solutions get professional help. Yeah. Like I personally think that she’s totally cooked. I don’t think that there’s any sort of coming back and like rehabilitating her image or the way that people see her or anything else. Like I just, I don’t really see it happening.”The viral image accompanying the post, which placed Asmongold and Owens side by side, became a focal point of the discussion as thousands of users shared their reactions. Some described Asmongold’s comments as brutally honest, while others defended Owens and criticised the streamer for making personal attacks rather than engaging with her arguments. The clip has added another chapter to the ongoing online conversation surrounding Owens’ recent commentary. As of now, Candace Owens has not publicly responded to Asmongold’s latest remarks, and the debate continues to unfold across social media.
