‘I remember being so excited’
Ayushi Srivastava, a software engineer at Microsoft and a BITS Pilani graduate, moved to the US at the age of 25.Looking back at the time before her move, she recalled, “I remember being so excited”.Since then, she has travelled extensively across the country. In her video, she showed a waterfront view while talking about how her reaction to such sights has changed.“Now that I have travelled a lot in this country, this is my view right now. I am feeling used to it.”

Mujhe ye bhi normal lag raha hai (I have seen many tall buildings. I have experienced clean air, clean water, snow, summer, autumn. I have seen it all. Now it all looks normal to me),” she explained.Her comments focused on how repeated exposure had changed her response to these experiences.
‘I am kinda losing it’
She also reflected on the excitement she had associated with moving abroad.“I am taking this for granted. Wo jo excitement tha na jab move karna tha, like I will see something so new, I am kinda losing it,” she said.That realisation has led her to think about her next goal.“I don’t know what my driving force is now. I’ll have to find a new goal. What to do?” she added.
