Tiger stops traffic inside Ranthambore
The video posted by Elena shows a tiger lying on a road inside Ranthambore National Park. Safari vehicles can be seen nearby as tourists watch from their jeeps.Elena said around 30 jeeps were present during the encounter. The visitors waited while the tiger remained on the track, with cameras focused on the animal.After some time, the tiger woke up, stretched and walked into the forest.
Tourist shares her experience
Elena said the animal was the third tiger she had seen during her visit to Ranthambore. She had spotted three tigers across four safaris.She also noted that tiger sightings are not guaranteed during a safari. Sharing details of the encounter, she wrote:“Classic India. Traffic jam. But make it tiger. Our 3rd tiger we’ve seen in Ranthambore. This one decided to nap in the middle of the road. 30 jeeps, pure chaos – cameras, whispers, trying to get closer to a 200kg cat sleeping. Then woke up, stretched like my house cat, and walked into the forest like we were nothing. $50 safari. No guarantee you see one. We saw 3 in 4 safaris but this boy was so close, once in a lifetime moment. This is why you go.
