Nivin Pauly’s ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ salary revealed: Here’s how much the South actor earned and what he plans for future films

Nivin Pauly’s box-office pull has become a major talking point after ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ turned into a massive theatrical success. The Girish AD directorial, starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju, has crossed the Rs 300-crore mark worldwide and continues to remain in theatres. Trade reports put its worldwide gross at around Rs 326 crore, while the film has also crossed Rs 150 crore in Kerala alone.Amid the film’s huge success, speculation around Nivin Pauly’s remuneration for ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ has also surfaced. Social media claims suggested that the actor worked on a profit-sharing arrangement and took only around Rs 5 crore as his remuneration. However, a recent report by Dool News indicates that Nivin Pauly was paid Rs 15 crore for ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’. The figure is being discussed in the context of his growing box-office value following a strong run of films.According to these reports, the profit-sharing model is instead linked to some of his future commitments rather than this particular film.

‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ box-office success boosts Nivin Pauly’s market value

The remuneration discussion comes at a time when ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ has delivered an extraordinary theatrical run. Directed by Girish AD, the romantic comedy stars Nivin as Justin alongside Mamitha Baiju. The film was released on August 21 and quickly connected with family audiences. It has since crossed Rs 300 crore worldwide and became the first Malayalam film to cross the Rs 150-crore mark from Kerala, according to Cinema Express. Reports have also placed its worldwide collection above Rs 320 crore, making it one of the biggest Malayalam box-office successes.

    Nivin Pauly’s future salary plan

With ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ adding another major success to his career, Nivin Pauly is reportedly changing the way he approaches remuneration for upcoming films.Instead of relying only on a fixed salary, the actor is said to be open to profit-sharing deals for future projects. This means his earnings could be linked partly to how a film performs after its release. The reported move also reflects how leading Malayalam actors are increasingly structuring their remuneration around a film’s commercial performance.Nivin Pauly already has several projects in different stages, including ‘Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai’ and ‘Benz’, keeping his lineup busy after the success of ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’.Meanwhile, ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ is preparing for its OTT debut. The film is scheduled to stream from October 2 on JioHotstar in multiple languages.
