Ajay Devgn’s ‘Drishyam 3: The Conclusion’ has made a strong start at the global box office, however, it fell short of the Rs 100 crore mark.According to sacnilk, the film’ starring Ajay Devgn in the lead, collected Rs 66.75 crore net in India on Day 1 across 15,759 shows. Its India gross stands at Rs 80.10 crore, while the film added another Rs 15 crore gross from overseas markets, thus taking its worldwide gross to an estimated Rs 95.10 crore.The film recorded an overall 67.08% occupancy for its Hindi 2D shows. ‘Drishyam 3’ beats ‘Drishyam 2’ and ‘Drishyam’ opening
‘Drishyam 3: The Conclusion’ has registered a substantially bigger opening than its predecessor, ‘Drishyam 2’. The second instalment reportedly collected Rs 15.38 crore net and Rs 18.15 crore gross in India on its opening day. Strong advance bookings
The film had recorded substantial advance sales ahead of its release. ‘Drishyam 3: The Conclusion’ reportedly sold Rs 79.71 crore worth of tickets across eight show dates, including block seats. Without block seats, the advance booking figure stood at Rs 67.79 crore.The strong pre-release demand set the ball rolling for the huge opennig day numbers.

It is also on course to surpass the lifetime worldwide collection of the 2015 Hindi remake, ‘Drishyam’, which earned approximately Rs 110.40 crore during its theatrical run.The original Hindi film collected around Rs 90.63 crore gross in India and Rs 19.77 crore overseas, taking its worldwide total to approximately Rs 110.40 crore.
