Parenting rarely comes with a neat division of responsibilities. One parent may be making dinner while the other helps with homework. One may be managing bedtime while the other is answering a work call. Somewhere between school runs, meals, tantrums and deadlines, couples can forget that their children are watching more than just what they say to them.
They are also watching how their parents speak to each other, handle disagreements, share responsibility and make everyday decisions.
