    ‘Baththa’ box office collection day 10 vs ‘Sigma.

    Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Baththa’ recorded a significant increase in box-office earnings on its second Saturday, October 10. According to Sacnilk, the Tamil film collected Rs 2.99 cr net across 1,731 shows. This represents an 81.2% rise compared with its previous day’s earnings of Rs 1.65 cr.The film’s cumulative India net collection has reached Rs 20.10 cr, while its domestic gross stands at Rs 23.25 cr. Its Saturday performance marked a recovery after relatively lower weekday collections. Meanwhile, Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut, ‘Sigma’, also recorded decent collections on Saturday.

    ‘Baththa’ day-wise collection

    ‘Baththa’ began its theatrical run on October 1 with Rs 1.50 cr. The film collected Rs 2.70 cr on Friday and Rs 2.75 cr on Saturday. Its first Sunday brought in Rs 3.10 cr, the highest single-day collection during its opening week.The film subsequently earned Rs 1.30 cr on Monday, followed by Rs 1.40 cr on Tuesday and Rs 1.33 cr on Wednesday. Thursday’s collection stood at Rs 1.38 cr, taking the first-week total to Rs 15.46 cr. On its second Friday, the film earned Rs 1.65 cr from 1,591 shows, with an occupancy of 22.0%. Saturday’s collection climbed to Rs 2.99 cr, with 1,731 shows and a reported occupancy of 33.0%.

    ‘Baththa’ day 10 footfalls

    The film recorded 243,541 footfalls on its tenth day. Its cumulative footfalls reached 1,675,805 during the first ten days of its theatrical run.The Tamil 2D version registered an overall occupancy of 39.52% on Saturday. Morning screenings recorded 20.69%, while afternoon shows reached 43.08%. Evening occupancy stood at 39.23%, and night screenings recorded the highest figure at 55.08%.

    ‘Baththa’ box office performance in week 2

    After collecting Rs 15.46 cr in its opening week, ‘Baththa’ continued its run with improved earnings over the second weekend. Its Saturday collection was notably higher than the previous day’s total. The latest figures take the film’s India net collection beyond Rs 20 cr. Its domestic gross has also reached Rs 23.25 cr.

    Jason Sanjay’s ‘Sigma’ box office collection

    ‘Sigma’, which marks Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut, began its theatrical run on October 2. The film opened with Rs 2.70 cr gross and Rs 2.35 cr net. Its second-day collection stood at Rs 1.70 cr gross and Rs 1.50 cr net, with Sunday recording the same figures.On Monday, the film collected Rs 90 lakhs gross and Rs 80 lakhs net. Tuesday’s earnings stood at Rs 85 lakhs gross and Rs 75 lakhs net. It recorded Rs 80 lakhs gross and Rs 71 lakhs net on Wednesday, followed by Rs 70 lakhs gross and Rs 62 lakhs net on Thursday. Its first-week collection reached Rs 8.23 cr.‘Sigma’ day 9 collection and overall earningsOn its second Friday, ‘Sigma’ earned Rs 9 lakhs in both reported gross and net collections across 202 shows. Its occupancy stood at 18.8%.Saturday brought a slight increase, with the film collecting Rs 14 lakhs gross and Rs 13 lakhs net across 193 shows. Occupancy improved to 19.8%.
